Participate Australia’s Social Life Skills activities empower our participants to be active member of their community. Social Life Skills classes cannot be taught in a classroom, and as such our participants learn these skills by accessing their community during the course.
Participate Australia’s Social Life Skills activities aim to increase the confidence of our participants in accessing their community. The activities teach real world skills, including road safety, public transport use, and skills learned in other Participate Australia Life Skills courses like Financial Literacy. All the while, participants will learn valuable socialisation skills, and interact with their peers in a safe and supported environment.
Participate Australia’s Social Life Skills activities run throughout the year, and each course is approximately 8 weeks long.
